Made From Stone brings together two months of making (20 April to 20 June 2026), featuring technical drawings, VR sketches, 3D renders and words that begin as sketches and may evolve into future works and exhibitions, inspired by goblins, fairytales, dungeons, houses, bugs, fruits, personal anecdotes, and beyond. Created within a self-imposed deadline, the publication documents an ongoing process of making, capturing ideas as they emerge and revealing how they develop over time.

Tim Meakins is an an artist and designer from Boorloo (Perth), currently based in the Pilbara, Western Australia, he uses digital drawing tools mixed with fabrication methods to make sculptures and installations.

Tim's graphic design background feeds directly into visual investigations of human connection and inner dialogues; exploring how these construct relations to our physical reality and serve as points of departure for rearticulating how we think of the human body, nonhuman companions and inanimate objects.

By reworking common materials and cultural motifs, be it characters from Arthurian folklore, playground materials, industrial machinery, or gym equipment, Tim's projects present micro-worlds that pull disparate objects and ideas into relation of each other.
