MILLESUONI

MILLESUONI adopts an intersectional approach to explore sound as a space of equality and solidarity among human and more-than-human kinships. It calls for a cultural shift in which sound becomes a generative force capable of embodying presence, relation, and emotion.

Inspired by the writings of Deleuze and Guattari on sound and by the book "Deleuze, Guattari and Electronic Music" (2006), the project unfolds like a refrain, in a continuous process of territorialization and deterritorialization, embracing diversity and fostering new ecologies of listening. In this way, music is reintegrated into the natural and social cycles that connect all forms of life.

The project explores listening as a political practice—a means of attunement, resonance, and negotiation with non-humans, materials, and ecosystems.

The project investigates the symbolism of sound in non-European, particularly Asian, onomatopoeias, known for their rich morphological and phonosymbolic systems, alongside a reflection on listening and accessibility as aesthetic and political acts.
