Apricity by JAMIE PNG
Born from a period of burnout and quiet exhaustion, Apricity began with an act of gentle attention. Each night on her way home from work, Singapore-based photographer Jamie Png paused to photograph flowers that few ever saw—blooms that existed in the margins of the city, illuminated only by streetlight and fatigue. While flowers are admired in daylight, their nocturnal beauty often goes unnoticed. In these quiet encounters, Png found mirrors of herself: wilting yet persistent, exhausted yet still reaching toward light. Apricity is a meditation on impermanence and endurance—a book about finding warmth in unlikely places and recognizing the quiet beauty of things that continue to bloom without witness.
